Alert pedestrians and motorists to approaching light rail, streetcar and commuter train traffic
Light rail safety and other LED commuter train approaching signs have been shown to enhance pedestrian safety at LRT crossings.
Use our MUTCD W10-7 LED safety sign (Light Rail Approaching Activated Blank Out) to alert the public to approaching streetcar and commuter train traffic. Locate LED activated blank out (ABO) signs at transit stations, in mid-block crossings situations or in areas with limited visibility to alert pedestrians and motorists to approaching train traffic.
These visual warning signs are available in 100-240VAC or 12-24VDC input voltage ranges. They can be engineered to interface with third-party audio alarm and voice activated speaker systems. Messages can be designed to flash, display the message(s) in a specific sequence or to be operated through an external source. Cabinets designed to be vandal and weather resistant.
